Dan White Edmonton

Dan White resides and works in Edmonton, Alberta, one of Canada’s Prairie Provinces. Dan White is the President and CEO of Symmetry Asset Management Inc., a national and international acquisition, finance, development and operations company. Symmetry Asset Management Inc. seeks to implement strategic growth strategies in the primary divisions ofbrownfield sites, urban revitalization, pulp mills, and other wood related operations.   In addition to his work at Symmetry Asset Inc., White serves as the active Chairman of the Board for Eco Industrial Business Park Inc. The board is committed to redeveloping an abandoned energy plant in central Alberta. Plans for the revitalization include an ecologically managed, environmentally sustainable mixed-use industrial park.   Dan White began his career in the mid-1970’s, working overseas in Milan, Italy. As a marketing consultant, White developed the company’s marketing plan for gold and diamond manufacturing for the North American market. He also supplied gold and diamonds directly from manufacturing facilities to company representatives around the globe. This international experience helped set the tone for the rest of White’s career.   In the late 1970's, Dan White returned to Canada and settled in Alberta. He began working on modest single building restoration and conversion projects in and around central and southern Alberta.    Dan White was invited to participate in the first federally-funded social housing project in Edmonton history. As part of the project, White renovated, revitalized and converted a heritage warehouse and an office building into chic loft condominiums. The project was hailed as the most significant contributor to the revitalization of downtown Edmonton.   Throughout his 35 year career, Dan White has developed, enhanced and implemented his broad skill-set to benefit his community and others around Alberta. His ability to adeptly combine marketing strategy and financial analysis into sound business plans has served him well and allowed him to work on exciting projects around Alberta.     Since 2009, Dan White has overseen and managed Symmetry Asset Management Inc.’s expansion process. White also directs the company’s major acquisitions and development in residential lands, industrial plants, and pulp and paper mills. Through his dedication to Alberta development and his diligent work ethic, White has become one of Alberta's leading developers.      In his leisure time, Dan White enjoys mountain biking, exercise, and gardening. He is also fond of spending quality time with his family.
